AAC Technologies Wins Three Accolades: “Citation for Environmental, Social and Governance Disclosure”, “Best New Entry – General Category” and “Green Office and Eco-Healthy Workplace Awards Label”

(1 December 2017 – Hong Kong) – AAC Technologies Holdings Inc. (“AAC Technologies” or “the Company;” HKEx: 02018) has garnered three awards – “Citation for Environmental, Social and Governance Disclosure”, “Best New Entry – General Category” and “Green Office and Eco-Healthy Workplace Awards Label”, market testimony to the Company’s capabilities in corporate governance and reporting as well as maintaining a high standard of sustainability through the implementation of green office practices.

In the 2017 Best Annual Reports Awards¹ organized by The Hong Kong Management Association, AAC Technologies not only made its debut in the “Best New Entry Award – General Category,” but was also one of five companies honored in the “Citation for Environmental, Social and Governance Disclosure” category. The awards underscore the Company’s commitment to communication with stakeholders. Moreover, it is the second year for the Company to be an awardee for the “Green Office Awards Label and Eco-Healthy Workplace Label” under the Green Office Awards Labeling Scheme² presented by the World Green Organization, honoring the efforts to ‘go Green’ the offices.

1. The 2017 Best Annual Reports Awards is an annual competition organized by The Hong Kong Management Association since 1973 and co-organized with the South China Morning Post since 2007. The award aims to encourage the publication of timely, accurate, informative and well presented annual reports for shareholders, stakeholders, employees and others who may have an interest in the performance and activities of the organizations in question. This year a total of 89 reports were reviewed by the Panel of Adjudicators.

2. The Green Office Awards Labeling Scheme is initiated by the World Green Organization since 2013. It aims to raise local business awareness of the global environmental challenges addressed by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to support offices and retailers to go Green in nine stipulated aspects of their operations.
