AAC Technologies Garners Three Awards in “Asia’s Best Managed Companies”, “2016 HKIoD Corporate Governance Score-card”,and “2016 Fair Wealth List of Mainland China”

(24 March 2017 – Hong Kong) – AAC Technologies Holdings Inc. (“AAC Technologies” or “the Company;” HKEx: 02018) has won three esteemed awards in “Asia’s Best Managed Companies”, “2016 HKIoD Corporate Governance Score-card”, and “2016 Fair Wealth List of Mainland China”, demonstrating our market recognition in various aspects including corporate governance, investor relations and corporate social responsibility (“CSR”).

 

In FinanceAsia’s Asia’s Best Managed Companies survey – China Companies Category¹, AAC Technologies made it among the top 10 listed companies in three categories, namely Most Committed to Corporate Governance, Best at Corporate Social Responsibility Company and Best Investor Relations Company. In addition, the Company is among the top 10 companies with the highest corporate governance score rated by the Hong Kong Institute of Directors (“HKIoD”) ²in 2016. Moreover, on the first-ever fair wealth ranking list in China compiled by Fudan University's Institute for Sustainable Innovation and Growth (“iSIG”)³, AAC Technologies topped the Top 25 list.

1.In its 17th year, the Asia’s Best Companies annual poll is conducted by FinanceAsia, a regional financial magazine. This poll tallies votes from individual investors and financial analysts, and solicits their views on the region’s best managed companies

 

2.The HKIoD Corporate Governance Score-card project is commissioned by The Hong Kong Institute of Directors, and is conducted roughly every four years. It documents and evaluates the corporate governance practices of the most representative listed firms in Hong Kong.

 

3.Fair wealth is defined as the business wealth created under the precondition that all stakeholders are fairly treated. The first fair wealth ranking launched by iSIG is based on the analysis of nearly 100 companies of the top 50 wealth owners in mainland China using the fair wealth evaluation system.
